What is affiliate marketing, and how is it different from influencer marketing?
Influencer marketing pays a creator a fee for content; affiliate marketing pays a commission on the sales a creator's link brings in; a hybrid campaign does both. On Onlure every campaign is a hybrid: the content fee is fixed and paid up front in two steps, and performance pay follows the results, a verified walk-in in store, a commission on attributed online sales, and view pay on the live post. A brand that wants affiliate terms sets a commission and books creators whose content fee fits the budget; a content fee is always part of it, because the creator's work is paid either way.
Which online stores can I connect?
Onlure connects to online stores on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Wix or Stripe today, from the Integrations page. Shopify online stores follow once Shopify approves Onlure's app. Each store reports paid orders and refunds from its own records, and the table on this page says what each one reports and how far it has been tested.
How does a creator's link credit a sale?
Each creator gets their own link, which opens your website and remembers the click; when your store reports a paid order that came through it, the sale is credited to that creator. If a customer clicked two creators' links, the last one wins. Link previews and bots are not counted as clicks, and the link counts clicks and online sales only, never store visits.
On WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Wix, each creator also gets a discount code of their own, and an order with that code is credited to them even when nobody clicked.
How do I launch an affiliate program on Onlure?
Connect your store on the Integrations page, then open the campaign builder and choose Sell online as the goal. Set one commission for every creator, publish the listing to the Onlure Marketplace and accept the creators who apply; each one gets their link as soon as they're booked.
There's no separate affiliate software to buy, and Sell online campaigns work on the free plan. The budget covers each creator's fixed content fee and the reserve that pays commissions as orders come in.
Which purchases qualify, and how do refunds change the commission?
A paid order that a creator's Onlure link brought to your connected store qualifies, credited to the creator whose link was clicked last; a click, a cart or an abandoned checkout earns nothing. On WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Wix, a creator's own discount code credits them too, even without the link. The commission is a percentage of the order total your store reports, on orders in Canadian dollars, and the creator can cash it out once 7 days have passed since the order. A full refund cancels a commission the creator hasn't cashed out; a partial refund leaves it as it was. Only the store's own order record counts, never a screenshot.
What does an affiliate program on Onlure cost?
You pay a fixed content fee for each creator you accept, by tier, and the commission you set on each paid order their link brings in, which comes out of the campaign's reserve inside your budget. Clicks cost nothing, Onlure takes no commission on creator fees, and Step 3 of the builder shows your exact total before you pay.
Does an affiliate link count store visits too?
An affiliate link counts clicks and online orders only. Store visits are a separate campaign goal, Bring people in, where each verified walk-in is counted at the location and paid at C$6, C$3 of it to the creator who sent the customer.
Can I track app purchases the same way?
Onlure measures app purchases through RevenueCat, set up with you on a demo. The app reports first purchases and trial-to-paid conversions a creator's link drove, and support-initiated refunds reverse them; ordinary renewals are recorded, not commissioned. There's no self-serve app setup yet, and install measurement is scoped on the same demo.
