Creator Tiers on Onlure: How Emerging, Rising, Established and Elite Work

One verified number decides your tier: your effective followers across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube. Emerging under 5K, Rising 5Kโ€“20K, Established 20Kโ€“100K, Elite 100K+. What each tier changes for creators and brands.

Creator Tiers on Onlure: How Emerging, Rising, Established and Elite Work

Every creator on Onlure belongs to one of four tiers: Emerging, Rising, Established, or Elite. If you've seen those words on a campaign brief or next to a profile and wondered what decides them, the answer is simpler than you'd expect. One number decides your tier, and you can check it yourself right now.

The four tiers

Your tier comes from your effective follower count across your connected platforms โ€” Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube:

  • Emerging โ€” under 5,000 followers
  • Rising โ€” 5,000 to 20,000 followers
  • Established โ€” 20,000 to 100,000 followers
  • Elite โ€” 100,000 followers and up

Effective followers respect that audiences overlap: your biggest platform counts in full, your second biggest counts half, your third counts 30%. A creator with 12,000 on TikTok and 8,000 on Instagram has 12,000 + 4,000 = 16,000 effective followers โ€” Rising. No committee, no application, no judgment call.

Where the numbers come from

The counts are verified, not self-reported. When you join Onlure you connect your social accounts through each platform's own login, and your follower numbers come straight from the platforms' own APIs. Nobody types in a number, and nobody screenshots their way to a higher tier.

Your tier also updates automatically. When your analytics refresh and your effective count crosses a line, your tier moves with it, up or down, the same day. Cross 20,000 and you're Established. There's no form to fill out and nothing to request.

What your tier changes

Tiers exist so brands can plan a campaign in plain words. When a brand sets a budget in the campaign builder, Onlure shows them which tiers that budget realistically reaches, and their brief goes out described that way: "looking for Established + Rising creators."

For you, that means:

  • The briefs you hear about fit your size. A brand budgeting for Rising creators finds Rising creators, instead of everyone competing for everything.
  • Suggested rates grow with your tier. Your rate starts at your tier's base โ€” C$30, C$60, C$90 or C$120 โ€” and adds C$1 for every 1,000 effective followers past your tier's line. The maths is the same for everyone.
  • Any tier can still apply. The mix on a listing is the brand's plan, not a gate. If a campaign excites you, apply โ€” brands choose who they accept.

A size band, not a report card

One thing tiers are deliberately not: a quality score. Onlure's matching still weighs engagement quality, niche fit and past campaign performance ahead of raw audience size โ€” an Emerging creator with a strong save rate wins plenty of local campaigns over bigger accounts. The tier just tells everyone, honestly and in one word, how big your reach is today.

So if you're at 4,800 effective followers, you're 200 away from Rising, and nothing else is in the way.
