Tool reference for Gemini

52 tools · 28 reads · 8 writes · 16 sensitive writes · 5 work signed out · no payments

Address https://mcp.onlure.ca/mcp/gemini. This list is read from the server’s own tool registration, so it is what Gemini sees.

How every tool behaves

Sign-in
Tools marked “Works signed out” answer anyone. Every other tool needs a connected Onlure business account: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (S256), scope “campaigns” for full access or “campaigns:read” for read only, authorization server https://onlure.ca (metadata at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server), protected-resource metadata at https://mcp.onlure.ca/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp/gemini. Client ID Metadata Documents and Dynamic Client Registration are both accepted. A token works only at the address it was issued for. Called signed out, such a tool answers HTTP 401 with a WWW-Authenticate header naming that metadata, which starts the sign-in.
Permissions
A connected account reaches its own brand only. On the consent screen the brand chooses full access or read only; a read-only connection lists only the read tools and changes nothing. Tools marked “Owner only” refuse a staff account. A brand disconnects any time from Integrations on onlure.ca, and the app loses access on its next request. Store links are in beta and switched on per account.
Confirmations
Every write that moves money, tells a creator, or closes or changes the terms of a public listing has a preview. The preview checks the rules, says what will happen, who is told and what is paid, and returns a confirmation_token tied to those exact details. The token works once, for 10 minutes; the action refuses, changing nothing, if anything moved since the preview. Called again with a used token, a payment reports the same payment and never charges twice. These sensitive writes act at once on the brand’s own request and say what they did: delete_campaign_draft, pause_listing, revoke_store_link, send_email_code, verify_email_code.
Payments
Gemini takes no payments. Launching a campaign, booking a creator and adding money happen on onlure.ca; a draft’s result carries the link.
Results and errors
Every result carries its facts as text the assistant reads and as structured JSON. A refusal is a normal tool result marked as an error with one sentence that says why and what to do next: a missing address or website before a launch, a verified email still needed, a rule that stopped a change. Only sign-in uses an HTTP status. Writes are idempotent where it matters: a draft keyed by request_id, a payment by its token.
Rate limits
Per minute, creator search and profiles: 30 calls per signed-in user; signed out, 60 per address and 300 shared across Gemini; 900 across everyone. Signed-in account tools: 60 calls a minute per user, 20 of them writes. Over a limit, a tool answers “Too many requests in the last minute. Try again shortly.”
Data
A tool call carries only its own inputs; Onlure never receives the rest of the conversation. Creator results are public profile facts and, where the app shows them, public rates; never contact details. Section 2.8 of the Privacy Policy covers what a connection shares.

Reads

Retrieve information and change nothing. A preview is a read: it checks the rules, says what an action would do and returns the token the action needs.
